Closer to the Sun album package
A gatefold designed for the album "Closer to the Sun" by Slightly Stoopid. I used a mix of digital illustration and collage to create a "trippy" feeling anywhere you look on the album. I used simple illustration on the cover that features an optical illusion on the front and back cover. When you open the album up, a full spread collage jumps out and begins to tell more of a narrative of being lost out in the desert. The inside sleeves also includes two other collages that can only be fully seen if ripped open. I put this in as ore of a fun easter egg that one could discover while taking the vinyls out of the sleeves.
